Two persons involved in assaulting traffic police party arrested by Police Station Kothibagh
August 01: A video went viral, wherein, Scooty borne youth, assaulted traffic police party at Polo View while the traffic cops were discharging professional duties.
Cognizance was taken by Police Station Kothibagh and an FIR No 71/2018 under section 353 RPC was registered.
During the course of investigation it surfaced that one culprit namely Mir Nauman resident of B. K. Pora, Nowgam was identified and subsequently arrested.
In continuation with the investigation of the case, one more accused Mir Hanan resident of B. K. Pora, Nowgam was also arrested.
Police has hailed the cooperation of public.
Traffic police/officers should also be copratve with public when any individual will submit complaint then Traffic authorities think of public support.
