Srinagar, Mar 26: Peoples Conference (PC) candidate, Irfan Raza Ansari on Tuesday filed nomination papers for the upcoming parliamentary polls from Srinagar-Budgam constituency.
Irfan Ansari was accompanied by party chairman and former minister Sajad Gani Lone, PC General Secretary Imran Ansari, PC senior leader Abid Ansari, Junaid Azim Matoo, Political Secretary to Chairman Shahid Rashid and other leaders today in front of District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary.
Earlier, NC president Dr. Farooq Abdullah and BJP candidate, Khalid Jahangir filed their nomination papers for the Srinagar constituency on Monday.
Irfan said that he will work for the development of Srinagar constituency, which has neglected so far by the successive candidates. He said that Srinagar constituency became political victim.
He added that his priority will be the youth who have been ignored so far, adding that he hope the youth will come out and cast their ballots in his favour to ensure the visible change on ground.
Irfan also said that he will raise the voice of people at parliament as per their aspirations.
