SSP Bandipora, Rahul Malik told news agency CNS that they have booked all the miscreants who had posted fake news reports about the incident. “An FIR stands lodged against these miscreants at police station Sumbal,” he said.

“I request everyone not to pay heed to any report pertaining to this alleged rape incident. Our investigation is in final stage and everything will be made public,” Rahul Malik said.

He added that police will file charge sheet in the court of law in coming days. Malik said that they conducted fair and impartial investigation in every respect. “I appeal to people to wait for the charge sheet that we will file in the court of law. Whatever is being reported about the incident is concocted and not true,” SSP Bandipora told CNS.
