DC office Baramulla passes false info to govt’s grievance cell on class IV appointments

Srinagar, July 27 (GNS): At a time when government’s grievance cell has become popular during the governor’s administration, District administration Baramulla has passed wrong information to the grievance cell regarding the publishing of a final list of candidates for class IV.  The selection list has not been issued despite interviews conducted nearly a decade ago.

In June this year, some candidates, who applied for Class 4th post in 2006 (under advertisement number 04/DDC of 2006, dated 18-10-2006), had submitted the complaint in government’s grievance cell that 12 years have passed but the district administration Baramulla has failed to publish the selection list of candidates after several rounds interviews.

The grievance cell sought the report from Director Planning Baramulla on 1st July 2018, who informed the grievance cell that list will be published by or before July 15 . However, more than a week has passed but the list has not been issued. Some of the candidates said that they are visiting the office of the deputy commissioner Baramulla every day since then but the list has not been issued.

The candidates said that from past one year the deputy commissioner Baramulla has been only assuring them that list will be published “very soon”. “Some of the candidates even passed away during the past 12 years while most of them crossed their age bar.”

Barring Baramulla, all districts of Jammu and Kashmir have published lists of class IV appointments. (GNS)
