Pattan, 17 Aug (GNS) : In a shocking incident a 40 year old prayer leader in the mosque held with drugs in North Kashmir’s Pattan on Friday.
Police in a statement issued to GNS said that a prayer leader identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Mia @DC son of Late Ghulam Hassan Mia resident of Pattan was arrested with consignment of fukki in Pattan area on Friday.
Officer said that a case FIR number 168/2018 U/S 8/22 NDPS has been registered against him and further investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile locals of the area appreciated Baramulla Police for action against these drug peddlers and assured full support in eradicating the drug menace.
