Islamic Students League (ISL) patron and senior resistance leader Shakeel Ahmad Bakshi has been detained by police during a nocturnal raid on Wednesday.
Official sources said that Bakshi was detained when a posse of police raided his residence in Bemina area of city outskirts last night.
SSP Srinagar City Imtiaz Ismail Parray confirmed the detention of Bakshi and said that he has been taken into preventive custody. (GNS)
